BEEF FLAVORS

COLOR CHANGING INK

Responding to the popularity of specialized burger
offerings and the re-emergence of steakhouse dining
concepts, Red Arrow developed three new beef flavors:
Natural Wood Fired Ribeye Flavor RA13044, Natural
Charbroiled Tenderloin Flavor RA15003 and Natural
Braised Beef Flavor RA13043. Red Arrow offers cooking
method flavors such as grill, roast, char, sauté, caramelize
and fry. Customized flavor profiles can be developed by
Red Arrow's experienced flavorists and culinary staff.

Food manufacturers have utilized the retort or autoclave
process for years, typically to help preserve foods. To
meet code requirements before, during and after the retort
process, Videojet Technologies announced its latest ink
innovations, V476 and V521, for use with its 1000 Line of
Continuous Inkjet (CIJ) printers. Codes produced with
these new inks are designed to provide a noticeable color
change from dark red to light red when exposed to heat
and moisture during the retort process.
