a 304L stainless steel modular frame with the ability to
accept a multitude of chamber configurations (widths and
lengths) and sealing profiles (single, double or custom seal

The 2016 Handtmann Maintenance and Repair Training
Class schedule features in‐depth two- and three-day
courses for each major product line, including the
Handtmann VF 600 series, the Handtmann HVF line
and Handtmann's broad range of automatic linking and
hanging options. Course participants learn to perform
operator-level and general-level maintenance functions,
monitor and use all safety features, troubleshoot
operational issues and effectively use Handtmann's
detailed OEM reference materials. 2016 service and
training courses for US and Canadian customers will
be held at the Arthur Handtmann Technology Center in
Lake Forest, Ill. The courses are open to all Handtmann
customers and are free with new equipment purchases.

generation systems vs. dry ice
pellets - from purchasing to
productivity. On demand CO2
snow solutions from Linde
rapidly and accurately chill meat,
poultry or seafood products, and
can help achieve more consistent temperatures across the
food and more repeatable chilling operations. The DRI
PACK automated box chilling system adds CO2 snow to
boxes as they move along a conveyor. The ACCU-CHILL
combo chiller automates loading and chilling cut poultry
in combo bins. Linde CO2 snow generators and snow
horns are engineered to safely and efficiently produce CO2
snow when needed.

Novipax announced that it
has released the innovative, new Pad-Loc Fresh absorbent
pad. Pad-Loc Fresh generates carbon dioxide (CO2)
inside the package to help create an environment that is
unfavorable for microbial growth on fresh and processed
meats, poultry, seafood and other food products. Used as a
tool in an effective modified atmosphere packaging (MAP)
strategy, Pad-Loc Fresh enables fresh and minimally
processed packaged food products to maintain visual,
textural and nutritional appeal while also helping to
extend the shelf life of fresh food products without the
need to add chemical preservatives or stabilizers.
