The F286 was designed specifically to produce
vacuum and modified atmosphere packaging
(MAP) for meat snack products including jerky,
snack sticks, sausages and more. It offers a
high level of flexibility, efficiency and packaging
quality in a footprint and price tag that's more
appealing to the smaller meat processor.
The thermoforming machine is available in
a length of 4 ½ meters to 7 ½ meters (actual
machine length) with a maximum web width of
520 mm.
" The F286 can match the field performance of a
much, much larger machine, but of course, those
machines cost a lot more money, " said Christian
Uebele, Director of Product Innovation and
Technical Training, MULTIVAC. " This machine is
on the lower end of the spectrum in price with
its capabilities being for a particular application,
but it can produce the same quality of seal in the
large array. "
The F286 is ideal for processors looking to
package a dense array - meaning a large number
of packages per cycle. It can package up to
240 meat sticks per minute. Even as a smaller
