Where do you see the RCA and its regional
groups growing in the years to come?
Edwards: The RCA regions will continue to grow and
benefit from the regional chairs' focus on operating
procedures. Efforts like gaining new members are now
integrated at the RCA board of director and staff levels
to capture ideas. We'll also focus on gaining sponsors,
drawing in students and philanthropy events within
regional communities. These are core values and
behaviors of blending culinary and science within the
RCA, for the food industry and education sectors of
our world.
Q:
Goldstein: No one could have predicted what
transpired over the past couple months, but the fact
that we pivoted to RCA Powered Up and created an
environment for advanced learning and networking
despite the pandemic is incredible. Being an
innovation-focused association, I can't wait to see
what the future has in store.
