Beverages trending in CBD investment and innovation
A variety of beverage applications
have been trending as consumer
interest in CBD and its potential
health benefits continues to rise. New
applications include:

CBD beverage startup raises
$8.6 million
CBD sparkling water startup
Infuzed Brands secured an additional
$8.6 million in backing in late June.
The investment came from a private
family office with experience in
consumer packaged goods, the
company said.
Infuzed Thirst, a line of sugarfree, zero calorie sparkling waters,
launched in July 2019. The beverages
contain 10 mg of hemp complex per
12-oz can and are available in lime,
mango peach, berry and grapefruit
flavors. Infuzed Thirst currently has
four regional distribution agreements
and is available in 200 retail locations,
as well as through the company's
direct-to-consumer platform.

Ocean Spray launches new
CBD sparkling water brand
Ocean Spray Cranberries, Inc.
launched CarryOn, a new line of
CBD sparkling waters, through its
Lighthouse Innovation Incubator.
CarryOn is available in two
blends, Elevate and Descend, each
containing vitamins C and E, no
added sugar and 10 calories per
11.5-oz can. Elevate is a sparkling
grapefruit flavor that blends choline
for energy and focus with 10 mg of
CBD. Descend, a sparkling blueberry
flavor was designed for relaxation. It
contains L-Theanine for calmness and
20 mg of CBD.

Serenity Mountain offers hot
cocoa mix with CBD
Serenity Mountain Foods LLC has
introduced a line of hot cocoa mixes
with cannabinoids (CBD). A package
contains five individual serving
pouches with 40 mg of CBD per
serving.

The new product is available
in three flavors - classic blend,
Madagascar vanilla and spicy
Aztec. Availability is currently
through the company's website at
serenitymountainfoods.com and its
retail location in Aurora, Ill.

CBD Living sparkling waters
CBD Living is introducing CBD
Living Sparkling Water, the company's
first new beverage offering since the
brand debuted six years ago.
Containing 25 mg of nano-CBD
sourced from organic US-grown
hemp per 12-oz can, the sparkling
water is vegan, gluten-free, certified
kosher and contains no THC. Each
can contains 5 calories and no sugar.
The beverage comes in orange
grapefruit, peach honey, strawberry
lavender and apple ginger flavors.
Beverages are seen as a promising
and rapidly growing delivery vehicle
for CBD.
