At the end of 2019, SNAC International announced the creation of SNX, a new industry forum
that will work in tandem with SNAXPO to provide
snack producers and their suppliers with two distinct but integrated platforms. The inaugural SNX
will be held March 14-16, 2021, in Phoenix. Moving
forward, the two events will then be held on a rotating basis every other year.
"When it comes to snacking, the only constant is
change," said Elizabeth Avery, president and CEO
of SNAC International. "SNX, our new education
and collaboration forum, combined with SNAXPO,
our flagship trade show, represent a powerful lineup
of industry events designed to spur engagement

between producers and suppliers that will help
them, together, serve their consumers better, faster
and more completely than ever before."
While SNAXPO will feature a two-day expo-style
exhibit floor full of equipment, packaging, ingredients, seasoning, and other products and services,
education and thought leadership will be the pillars
for the SNX forum.
The concept for SNX was a collaborative effort,
which started in 2018, said Rob Sarlls, Marion OHbased Wyandot, Inc., president and CEO, who is
currently serving as 1st vice-chairman of SNAC
International. Associate members of SNAC were
looking for a high-engagement event in the alternate years of SNAXPO, Mr. Sarlls explained. With
that in mind, the association leadership came together to bring those members together outside of
a traditional trade show setting.
