but its offerings extend beyond racing.

and, most notably, the NASCAR Hall of Fame. But
this city is also home to vibrant neighborhoods, a
blossoming craft brewery scene and space for outdoor adventures.

START YOUR ENGINES
NASCAR will be at center stage as SNAXPO20
kicks off with an opening reception and dinner at
the NASCAR Hall of Fame, located uptown.
The museum celebrates the long and colorful history of the high-speed sport. Even non-racing fans
will enjoy the interactive displays and video presentations about NASCAR's history, which started with
bootleggers in the 1920s. Visitors can enjoy a film
in the High Octane Theater in addition to the opportunity to see the cars up close as well as a banked
ramp that simulates NASCAR racetracks.

OUT ON THE TOWN
Charlotte has much more to offer than just gasoline
and lug nuts. It also has a thriving downtown area
known as "uptown" to the locals. In this city center,
restaurants, shops and attractions are all within
walking distance of one another.
NoDa is Charlotte's arts district and is full of character. Also known for a plethora of local bars and
restaurants, it's the perfect place to relax after a
long day on the show floor. Amelie's French Bakery
on South College Street is known for its famous
salted caramel brownies (they've claimed to have
sold over 1 million of them), and it's open 24/7.
The Epicentre is a massive location made-up
of restaurants, clubs, bars, shops and a dine-in
movie theater. Relax on a rooftop patio or hit one
of the wine bars.

Attendees who love good music can head to The
Music Factory. Concerts, swanky clubs and even
tiny country bars are here. There's even a comedy
club and a daiquiri bar to mix it up.

ENJOY A BREW
The Queen City is quickly becoming known for its
booming craft beer scene. There are a number of
craft breweries located throughout the city, each
offering something different.
In the Plaza Midwood neighborhood, known
for its restaurants and bars, Legion Brewing uses
"olde world" techniques in creating their brews. Pilot
Brewing - the only North Carolina brewery to win two
medals at the 2019 Great American Beer Festival -
can also be found in the same neighborhood.
Others worth checking out include The Olde
Mecklenburg Brewery, Charlotte's oldest microbrewery located south of the city's warehouse
district. Suffolk Punch Brewing is a coffee
shop-cocktail bar-brewery-restaurant combo,
offering something for everyone. Divine Barrel
Brewing is known for its Berliner Weisses and
West Coast IPAs and features a cozy beer garden
and often has a food truck on site.

HEAD OUTDOORS
For a breath of fresh air, bike rides or walks along
Little Sugar Creek Greenway are available right outside of Uptown Charlotte. The greenway runs along
a creek and ends in Freedom Park.
The US National Whitewater Center is also located in the Charlotte area. They offer kayaking, paddle boarding, zip-lining and whitewater rafting. They
also have bike trails and hiking paths and an on-site
restaurant.
Charlotte truly has something for everyone. After
a day of sessions and walking the show floor at
SNAXPO, the Queen City is a great place to relax
and unwind.
