and advocacy - are central to the event.
As the industry transforms in the wake of a
new generation of consumers, snack producers
must adapt to exceed consumer expectations.
To capitalize on this industry evolution, it takes
new packaging, bolder flavors, forward-looking
technology, state-of-the-art equipment and ingredients that deliver on new demands from the category. SNAXPO's exhibit hall is designed to help

forward with access to all this and more.
SNAXPO20 will tap into the racing mentality of
Charlotte, which is home to the annual NASCAR
All-Star Race. The opening party on the evening
of Sunday, March 22, will be held at the NASCAR
Hall of Fame, and the tradeshow floor will feature
a NASCAR prototype racecar as well as a driving
simulator. The industry will gain a close look into
what makes the NASCAR brand uniquely successful. Attendees will also hear from Jill Gregory,
executive vice-president and chief marketing of-

ficer for NASCAR during breakfast on March 23.
NASCAR has dealt with the challenge of engaging an influx of younger followers while keeping
its most loyal fans happy - a challenge many
of our members are facing. Building on SNAC's
commitment to the Women in Snacks (WinS) initiative, attendees will also hear firsthand from Ms.
Gregory on how she became an executive leader
in a male-dominated industry.
SNAC International also welcomes its Canadian
friends to SNAXPO. For the first time, the event
will feature a dedicated Canadian Educational
Track on Sunday, March 22, which will explore
snack growth drivers and trends impacting the
market. This session will augment the popular
Latin American track, which will help position
SNAXPO as the leading source of focused education for the entire Western Hemisphere. With
two focused educational sessions along with
carefully curated education on the tradeshow
floor, attendees will learn today's branding, marketing and industry trends and how the political
climate during the election year and beyond
could impact businesses (see page 14 for detailed speaker information).
As attendees arrive in Charlotte, I want to thank
