Plant-based food is one of the hottest trends in the
market. When comparing the average annual growth between 2018 and 2019, the categories that offered plantbased snacks saw the most progress, according to an
Innova Market Insights survey/data/analysis.
Frito-Lay, Plano, Texas, leveraged the growing preference
for plant-based snacks to innovate better-for-you offerings
with its customers in mind. Their Off the Eaten Path brand,
including Veggie Crisps and Puffs, increased dollar sales,

are focused on these product bases and the creation of
