Canadian Global Crops Symposium
focuses on the road ahead
The Canadian Global Crops Symposium is coming to Toronto, Ontario, Canada, March
26-28, featuring discussions on the road ahead in research, policy, trade and where
Canadian crops will be in 2030.
The symposium, which started in 2014, will be at the Westin Harbour Castle in Toronto.
Previous events were in Winnipeg, Manitoba; Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; and Calgary, Alberta.
In addition to looking ahead, the symposium will address how Canadian grain producers
are stepping up investment and productivity through adoption of new technologies to
meet world market demand. Attendees also will gain insight into future diversification
and growth of Canada's crop-based agriculture. Network opportunities will be available
with grain merchants who represent Canada's leading commodity exporters.
The event will begin with a welcome reception on Monday, March 26. Speakers are
scheduled throughout the day on Tuesday, March 27, with a special evening banquet
and speaker. Sessions continue through mid-day on Wednesday, March 28. Special group
room rates are available at the Westin until Feb. 24. More information on the symposium,
