e are very appreciative of the
significant financial support from
the many alumni, friends, faculty, staff,
businesses, industries, foundations,
organizations, the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania, and other governmental
agencies--state and federal--and for
the commitment each one has made
to Thaddeus Stevens College and
Foundation during this past fiscal year
July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019.

Short Term Education
34 formerly unemployed adults are now
in fulltime, living wage jobs with support
from BB&T Economic Growth Fund.
Driven Program &
Home Renovation
All grants and donations help the
College and its students. Two individual
donors and two foundations gave a total
of $108,900 for two multi-year efforts to
help the most under-resourced students
attain self-sufficiency. The Driven
Annual Golf Scramble
Foundation realized over
$12,000 proceeds from the
outing and silent auction.
Program seeks roadworthy low-value
donated cars and makes them available
for qualified students to purchase.
In addition, Residential Remodeling
students are renovating a vacant house
to be used for short-term room rentals
by qualified graduating students.
Company Donations
Additionally, 30 companies and individuals donated in-kind gifts of equipment or materials
valued at over $350,352 to our technical program laboratories, facilities and projects. Also, seven
companies matched contributions through their corporate Matching Gift programs.
