Fete en Blanc
Fete en Blanc is a Lancaster community tradition which occurs annually
and is now in its 6th year. The goal is to provide a place for members of the
community to gather and break bread with one another in celebration of
the start of summer. Organized, funded, and set up entirely by community
volunteers, this year's "surprise" location was the front lawn of Thaddeus
Steven College of Technology.

Red Beard Rebuilding
Jason McComsey, a 2007 grad of our Collision
Repair program has a most unique side
business called Red Beard Rebuilding. Having
numerous years of track and field experience
stimulated Jason's creative juices in establishing
a javelin restoration business. His finished work
is strikingly beautiful. The javelins are skillfully
painted in the colors of your choice, including
labels and new hand grips. He pointed out how
his restoration service is serving high schools,
colleges and universities helping them save
thousands of dollars which would normally be
spent on replacement costs year after year.
It's a unique business by a very unique young man. If you have an
enterprising story accompanied by a few pictures that you would like to
