limitless! Here are some highlights
from 2016-2017 academic year.

Career Fair

* More than 350 Companies participated in the college's Career Fair (Actual & Virtual)
* 900+ Jobs were available just on that day alone.
* 141 Companies attended in our MAC Building. Nearly 400 employers were present to
represent those companies. More than 50 of the employer representatives were TSCT
graduates! All program majors were represented and nearly 750 TSCT students attended
the event! This is a Career Fair attendance record!
* WGAL 8 and other local media covered the event to highlight the vast array of jobs
available to graduates of the college in high skill, high demand, high paying fields.

Industry Mentors

This year, the college rolled out the 2nd year of our "Industry Mentor Program" whereby
industry partners adopted a program major to provide Mock Interviews, answers to questions,
and professional guidance to current students.

Interviewing and resume writing workshops

The Career Services Center of-fers workshops in resume writing, interview skills, and
provides mock interviewing opportunities to get graduat-ing sophomores prepared for their
job search.

Upcoming Career Fair

The 2018 Career Fair will be held on February 15.

College Central Network

College Central Network (CCN) enables employers to to post current job openings and
students and alumni to search Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology's job database as
well as those of CCN's own EmployerCentral.com job posting hub. In addition, students and
alum-ni can upload and maintain current resumes allowing them to forward information to
prospective employers immediately with the click of a button.

Jobs Posted on CNN for the class of '17

Over 3,000 jobs by more than 1,300 companies were posted directly to CCN for Thaddeus
Stevens Students and graduates during their AAS program (Sept. 2015-May 2017). The top
12 high-est recruited majors were: ELEC, ELME, MET, MACH, HVAC, CADT, EET, MFWT,
CARP, PLBM, CNSA, BUAD. Currently the college has over 3,000 active employer contacts
to connect students and graduates with.
