ast March, the Alumni Association formed a Historical Committee
as a way to keep the history of Thaddeus Stevens alive to
current students; to collaborate with the Thaddeus Stevens Society
in promoting and participating in their events; to represent the
College and Alumni Association in local historical events pertaining
to Thaddeus; and to act as a resource to individuals and groups
seeking information on Thaddeus Stevens.
The first weekend in April 2022 is the anniversary of Thaddeus
Stevens' 230th birthday, and The Thaddeus Stevens Society is
planning a full schedule of events in his honor.
FRIDAY, APRIL 1, 2022 - LANCASTER
 10:00 am - 1:00 pm: Seminars at Thaddeus Stevens
College of Technology:
- Ross Hetrick - 23 Years of Spreading the Gospel
of Thaddeus Stevens
- Brad Hoch - Thaddeus Stevens in Gettysburg
- Lancaster History - the Stevens/Smith House
 1:00 pm: Tour of Stevens Archives Room at
Stevens College
 2:00 pm: Tour of Stevens' Lancaster House
in Progress
 4:00 pm: Graveside ceremony at Shreiner
Concord Cemetery
 6:00 pm: Banquet at Lancaster Convention Center
 9:00 pm: Light Show at Shreiner Concord Cemetery
SATURDAY, APRIL 2, 2022 - GETTYSBURG
 10:00 - 1:00 pm: Seminars at Gettysburg College:

 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm: Dedication of the Thaddeus

 6:00 pm: Banquet at Gettysburg Hotel
 9:00 pm: Fireworks Display
SUNDAY, APRIL 3, 2022 - CALEDONIA STATE PARK
 10:00 am - 1:00 pm: Business meeting and lunch at
Caledonia State Park, followed by a tour of the
Thaddeus Stevens Blacksmith Shop
 1:00 pm: Bus takes participants back to Gettysburg
or Lancaster
Interested participants can purchase separate tickets for the banquets, or purchase package
tickets that include the banquets, seminars, two nights in hotels and bus transportation.
