visited the College on May 2. President Rivera
led her on a tour of numerous program labs,
she met with students and employees, and
experienced hands-on learning in action.

Pennsylvania's Secretary of Transportation,
ramian's visit also included a tour of our Transportation Center and the Diesel, Collision Repair, and
Automotive Technology labs, and discussions on areas of alignment and opportunities to drive
engagement between the College and PennDOT.
Responsible for a $9.5 billion budget, Gramian's work at PennDOT includes oversight of the programs
and policies affecting the thousands of miles of our state's highways and bridges, urban and rural public
transportation, airports, railroads, ports, and waterways, and millions of vehicle registrations and driver's
licenses/IDs.
" I had a great visit at Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology, where I had the opportunity to learn
about their programs and meet with many incredible students, " said Gramian. " The importance of
inspiring a new generation to pursue a career in STEM cannot be overstated, and it was wonderful to see
the many education opportunities that Thaddeus Stevens offers its students. "
Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology plays a unique and critical role in preparing our future
workforce for in-demand jobs. Opportunities to highlight the life-changing experiences and important
work our students and faculty are doing helps build awareness and stronger connections with our
partners at the local and state level, and in business and industry.
