DEAR THADDEUS STEVENS COLLEGE
OF TECHNOLOGY ALUMNI & FRIENDS,
In recent years, Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology has seen consistent growth.
At the start of this school year, our student body increased by 10 percent over the
previous year, with total enrollment reaching a historic high of 1,451. We're honored so
many students entrust us with their futures. It is part of our mission to provide opportunity
for an education that can change their lives and connections with high-demand jobs that
will impact them for years to come. One of our main priorities is ensuring every student
who attends Thaddeus Stevens College is encouraged to reach their greatest potential
both on campus and after they enter the workforce.
We have launched several new programs over the past few years, including Civil
Engineering Construction Technology, which has now begun its second year. We also
launched Diesel Technology in the fall of 2021. The College has doubled enrollment in
several other programs this year as part of this growth, adding faculty and maximizing
lab space. With tremendous growth also comes new challenges. We remain grateful to
our industry partners, faculty, staff, and alumni-it is because of each individual who
continually gives their time, energy, and passion to our organization that we can continue
our forward momentum. From leasing residence hall space on Millersville University's
campus to developing programs in partnership with regional companies, we have been
able to continually enhance our offerings to meet student demand and workforce needs.
Looking to the future, we are excited about the multiple capital improvement projects
we are facilitating to fulfill the needs of our continued growth. The College is planning
renovations to existing facilities and infrastructure, breaking ground on the brand-new
Steinman Community Learning Center, and preparing for a future residence and dining
hall expansion at the Main Campus.
Through it all, we remain steadfast in our commitment to eliminating barriers to education
and empowering students to pursue high-demand careers with family-thriving wages.
