> Agrisure DuracadeTM E-Z Refuge®
With Water Intelligent Irrigation Platform, growers can
develop strategic planting plans, monitor their crops and
control their pivots from their laptops or smartphones.
They also can receive crop management recommendations and irrigation updates and analyze harvest results,
among other capabilities. During two years of pilot testing
in growers’ ﬁelds, the Water+ Intelligent Irrigation Platform
delivered improved yield with 25 percent less water. In
addition to increased yield potential and water efﬁciency,
the platform delivers security, control, convenience,
ﬂexibility and time savings for growers.

The Environmental Protection Agency has approved two
Agrisure Duracade™ E-Z Refuge® trait stacks featuring a
5 percent integrated, single-bag refuge. The Agrisure
Duracade 5122 E-Z Refuge trait stack combines the
Agrisure Duracade trait with the Agrisure® RW trait for dual
modes of action against corn rootworms, plus the Agrisure
CB/LL trait and the Herculex® I trait for corn borer control,
and the GA21 trait for glyphosate tolerance. The Agrisure
Duracade 5222 E-Z Refuge trait stack contains these trait
combinations plus the Agrisure Viptera® trait for breakthrough control of the multi-pest complex. Hybrids containing
Agrisure Duracade E-Z Refuge trait stacks will be available
for the 2014 planting season.

>> Vibrance Now Available for More Crops
Vibrance® seed treatment fungicide, which provides best-inclass protection against Rhizoctonia, has received federal
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) registration for more
than 30 crops, including corn, sorghum and dry beans.
Vibrance contains the ﬁrst active ingredient (sedaxane) from
Syngenta developed speciﬁcally for use as a seed treatment.
Its revolutionary chemistry unlocks the power of root health
with a new mode of action from the SDHI class of fungicides.
The EPA has previously approved Vibrance for use on cereals,

> Photo Contest for Corn Growers
Syngenta extends an invitation to corn growers who have
seen an improved harvest following applications of Quilt
Xcel® fungicide or Force® insecticide: Enter the “Most
Efﬁcient Harvest” photo contest for a chance to win a $500 Visa® gift card.
Entrants should submit photos comparing their treated corn with untreated
corn and include descriptions of the beneﬁts they have seen, such as
harvest efﬁciency, reduced lodging, improved vigor, and savings on fuel,
labor and equipment costs. The deadline for entering is Nov. 29, 2013. A
panel of Syngenta and crop experts will then judge the photos and name
