his month John Rohan, Director of
Recreation & Parks for The Villages
Community Development District,
(VCDD) gave us a sneak peek of the
First Responders Recreation Center
that is currently in the last few phases
of construction and looking to open
this summer.

The Villages Community Development
District, Amenity Authority Council,
The Villages Design Team and fellow
Villagers, has made
First Responders
Recreation center
possible. As a result of
their collaboration, First
Responders Recreation
Center brings another
wonderful combination
of features including
long-time popular favorites, new trending
amenities, and a few that are all new to
The Villages.
In honor of Villagers, First
Responders is a tribute to the many
men and women who have dedicated
their lives to public safety agencies from
firefighters, paramedics, emergency
medical technicians, to police and law
enforcement. Similar to Eisenhower
Recreation, Villagers have donated
memorabilia to be placed throughout
the center as a part of its namesake to
commemorate the dedication of so many.
