ContractsAwarded February Contracts Hold Steady 25,000,000 January launched 2014 with $45,883,048 in contracts awarded. February slightly bested that amount, keeping awards steady at $49,722,137, with a total of $95,555,185 for the year to date. Compared to February 2013's $46,448,388 we're almost even, but we're off when compared to the year to date, which at this point had tallied last year to $133,897,213. Jump back to 2012's paltry $39,288,010 for January and February, however, and things look a lot better. Leading the way this month is Ralph S. Inouye Co., Ltd. with a contract at $10,321,500. Goodfellow Bros., Inc. was right behind it with a contract at $9,754,540. Certified Construction, Inc., Hawaiian Dredging Construction Co., Inc., Close Construction, Inc. and American Marine Corp. all landed contracts in the $5.9 million to $3.3 million range, boosting the total. DOT made the top of the list of agencies, awarding contracts totaling $23,970,621.
