ABC Networking Dinner
The Hawaii chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors
(ABC) held its 2013 Member Appreciation Networking
Opportunity Dinner at Doraku Kakaako on July 10. Recipients
of the 2013 Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award were
honored, and Dedicated Membership Awards were presented
to companies. Sponsors for the event included HMAA, Helix
Electric, Inc., Fringe Benefit Group/The Contractors Plan and
Performance Systems, Inc.
CAK Scholarships Awarded
During its July meeting at the Kauai Marriott Resort and Beach
Club, the Contractors Association of Kauai (CAK) presented
scholarships to its eight 2013 awardees who shared $11,500.

Graham Builders to Build
8 New Homes at Lilikoi Park Place
Design-build company
Graham Builders began the
groundwork for Lilikoi Park Place in
Aiea in July. The single-family, custom-designedand-built condominium project will include three
single-story and five two-story homes.
With prices starting at $795,000, sales of the feesimple, single-family condominium homes located at
Moanalua Road and Lilikoi Place will be handled by
Graham Properties, Inc.
“We are delighted to partner with Graham Properties
on this exciting new housing project,” said Evan
Fujimoto, Graham Builders’ president. “Demolition of the
existing seven homes formerly owned by Lilikoi Gardens
is complete. We are currently focusing on infrastructure,
which includes retaining walls, installing water and
sewer lines, underground electrical, cable and telephone
wires. We also will install a roadway with a new fire
hydrant and two new power poles on Lilikoi Place. This

phase of the project is estimated to take
about four months to complete.”
Construction on the homes is to begin as soon as
October, with the earliest occupancy during the first
quarter of 2014.
Home sites average 5,000 square feet. All of the new
homes are custom designed and will have an island-style
design with dual-pitched roofs, large open floor plans
and living areas ranging in size from 1,700 square feet to
2,400 square feet. The homes will either be three or four
bedrooms with two full baths, plus a powder room. Each
home will have a two-car carport or garage and concrete
driveways with enough space to park two additional cars.
