CONTRACTS AWARDED July Pushes 2014 Total to $589M Four agencies combined in July to award more than $109.8 million in contracts on Oahu-a hefty portion of the month's total of $142,522,427 and boosting the awards for 2014 to $589,461,870. The year-to-date amount, however, is far off last year's blistering sevenmonth pace of $750.1 million. But July did bring a jump of more than $9.5 million over June and more than $37 million over May. The City and County of Honolulu awarded jobs in July worth $42,658,055 followed by the U.S. Navy at $26,615,298, the Board of Water Supply at $23,027,999 and the Department of Accounting and General Services at $17,527,133. Hensel Phelps landed the singlelargest award, a $26,615,298 job for the Navy's MCON P-320 submarine production support facility at Pearl Harbor.
