(HIPA) Well, this past season (my 15th) was the last in the current set up. I could find no one to take on the job, so we've shut down the race series. A few of the races will continue as "one off" events, and we will still manage our canoe storage facility at Honokohau Harbor. The one cool thing that happened recently is that I found an iPhone app that I did race registration and timed races on. Tiger will be sponsoring the Keokea race, and he's going to do some "pop up" races. We plan to email an invitation to participate two-or-three days prior to the event… and there will be prize money$.
