Research Program bolsters
early-stage investigators
as they strive to launch
independent research
careers dedicated to
innovation in patient care.
Since its establishment
in 2004, the ATS Research
Program has awarded over
$21.9 million in research
grants to deserving
investigators in pulmonary,
critical care, and sleep
medicine.
The ATS Research
Program partners with
other nonprofit organizations
and pharmaceutical
companies to maximize the
number of grants it can
support. The ATS reviews
all grants and assumes all
costs associated with administrating
the grants. The
support of Society members,
donors, and partners
makes these awards
