uilding connections
with others who
have a special
interest in breast cancer
can lead to unexpected,
productive collaborations
extending well beyond the
annual San Antonio Breast
Cancer Symposium®.
While the Symposium
is known for providing
the latest research and
advancements in care
to researchers, patient
advocates, and many other
health professionals, it
is also an ideal forum for
attendees to reconnect
with colleagues and meet
new ones to build their
professional networks. The
2024 SABCS® will continue
this initiative with several
new opportunities for
attendees to create and
strengthen relationships
with their peers.
The Exhibit Hall will host
many of the Symposium's
networking forums.
On Tuesday, December
10, from 5:45 - 6:15
p.m. CST, attendees are
invited to a refreshment
and networking break to
kick off the 2024 SABCS®
and mingle with new and
familiar colleagues.
The SABCS® booth
(Booth 650) is home to the
new SABCS® Networking
Hub, where attendees are
invited to connect with
peers and join renowned
speakers in the Meet
the Experts Corner to
learn more about their
presentations and ask
questions in a smaller
group setting.
The Advocate Lounge
is a private space for
patient advocates to relax,
recharge, and meet privately
throughout the Symposium.
The new Patient Advocacy
Pavilion in the Exhibit Hall,
supported by Pfizer, is
also an ideal spot for
enhanced networking
opportunities among
those invested in
providing support for
patients undergoing
breast cancer therapy.
The patient advocacy
organization GRASP
will host daily Poster
Walkthroughs to
bring clinicians and
patient advocates
together to exchange
ideas on the research
presented throughout the
Symposium. There will also
be three afternoon poster
receptions for those in San
Antonio from 12:30 - 2:00 p.m.
Wednesday - Friday,
December 11-13, and two
evening poster receptions
from 5:30 p.m. - 7 p.m. on
December 10-13, 2024 | San Antonio, Texas

The Early Career Lounge
will be conveniently located
in convention center
room 221D, next to the
early career programming
sessions. This lounge
provides early career
attendees a private space
