Reaching the wider GI community:
myUEG Associates Programme and My Connect
Our outreach and resources are designed to reach a broad GI
community, encompassing dedicated digestive health professionals,
including experts specialising in various fields and stages
of their careers. Presently, more than 24,000 digestive healthcare
professionals worldwide have become myUEG Associates and
myUEG Young GI Associates within the myUEG Community. This
diverse group includes medical doctors, researchers, nurses,
and allied health professionals like dietitians and statisticians,
who converge under the UEG umbrella. Members benefit from
exceptional free resources and educational activities, enhancing
their network with friends, colleagues, peers, and collaborators
in the digestive health community. The exclusive and secure
networking platform, My Connect, ensures a safe environment
for fostering connections.
By prioritising our core values and fostering multidisciplinary
collaboration, we ensure a secure and professional online environment
on My Connect exclusively for members of the myUEG
Community. This platform enables users to explore and connect
with other professionals based on their areas of expertise and
shared interests. The goal is to facilitate connections and interactions
within specific interest groups through features like direct
messages, forum posts, and one-on-one chats. Interest Groups
such as Women in GI, Young GI, and Researchers Network provide
opportunities for My Connect members to exchange career
advice, share job opportunities, and strengthen both social and
scientific collaborations.
