Poster Rallye
At this year's UEG Week, both in-person delegates and online
participants had the opportunity to engage with another unique
educational opportunity: the Poster Rallye! Those attending
UEG Week in person could visit the dedicated Poster Rallye area,
where they could utilise special tablets to explore captivating
scientific posters on the virtual platform. Similarly, those participating
in UEG Week online had the same opportunity. After
delving into new scientific findings, participants could put their
knowledge to the test for a chance to win prizes such as registration
for UEG Week 2024, PGT 2024 registration, or a spot in the
" Emergency Training in Endoscopy " course. Daily participation
not only increased their chances of winning but also provided a
valuable opportunity to enhance their knowledge.
Moderated Poster Sessions
The moderated poster sessions at this year's UEG Week had a
unique twist. While still providing an excellent platform for indepth
scientific exchange among faculty and peers in a relaxed
on-site atmosphere, they introduced a novel element - they
were " silent " . In this innovative approach, all moderated poster
sessions were conducted using headphones. Chairs, speakers,
and participants used headphones, allowing them to hear the
presentations with minimal disturbance from bustling congress
around them. This setup created an intimate yet social atmosphere,
providing delegates with the opportunity to engage with
interesting topics while maintaining a sense of community.
