Weekly Wednesday Infographics - The UEG Festival expanded
in 2023 with #UEGEdu " performing " across all stages
Our educational team crafts the Weekly Wednesday Infographics
with our community in focus. These infographics, tailored to UEG
online courses, are shared weekly on our social media accounts.
Exclusively accessible through our @my_ueg Instagram and
LinkedIn channels, these images provide key and helpful information
on various hot topics in digestive health. Moreover, they
include links to existing UEG online courses, enabling immediate
enrolment for all myUEG Associates.
UEG & Monday Night IBD
At UEG Week 2023, gastroenterologists, GI trainees, surgeons,
subspecialists including dieticians and psychologists, nurse practitioners,
physician assistants, nurses, and other healthcare team
members engaged in or interested in the care of patients with
IBD were welcomed to join the inaugural expert-filled, collaborative
webinar titled " UEG & Monday Night IBD: Best of UEG Week
2022 " .
A star-studded faculty, including Iris Dotan, Charles Murray, Miguel
Regueiro, and Aline Charabaty, spotlighted the Top 10 IBD-focused
abstracts presented at the preceding UEG Week 2022. They answered
questions in real-time, contributing to a deeper understanding
of the evolving therapeutic landscape for IBD.
The collaboration was highly successful! During the live Q&A
component of the Twitter/X Webinar, more than 15,200 users
from both sides of the Atlantic participated, and the core Twitter/X
Webinar itself was viewed by over 17,500 individuals.
UEG Endorsement of Educational Events
In response to repeated requests from the GI community, UEG introduced
the UEG Endorsement Scheme for educational events.
This initiative provides the much-anticipated endorsement for
high-quality face-to-face or hybrid events in the field of gastroenterology
and related disciplines.
Applications can be submitted online year-round and will be
reviewed by members of the UEG Education Committee with
focus on the quality of the scientific programme.
