Overview
In 2023, UEG Journal has continued to publish a diverse array
of articles throughout the year, encompassing basic science research,
clinical trials, and meta-analyses. Rigorous selection processes
ensure that only top-tier research is included, fostering
trust in the presented findings. The journal continues to uphold
its reputation for featuring clinically relevant research, providing
practical insights into the diagnosis, treatment, and management
of digestive diseases. The editorial team, comprised of the
Editor-in-Chief, seven Associate Editors, and 15 Trainee Editors
with expertise in various areas of digestive health, ensures
comprehensive coverage of research topics. The 2023 publications
have spanned a wide spectrum, including studies on
inflammatory bowel disease, metabolic dysfunction-associated
steatotic liver disease, colorectal cancer screening and irritable
bowel syndrome. Importantly, all published articles are freely
accessible without any restrictions, embracing the principles of
open access and ensuring widespread dissemination of valuable
scientific knowledge.

Journal at 16th

gauge article citations and other key indicators. Additionally,
our altmetrics (alternative metrics) underscore the widespread
circulation of UEG Journal articles. Altmetrics reveal a robust
