LISA CHOLMONDELEY is a principal at
Gensler, joining the firm in 2008. Before joining
the Gensler San Francisco office, she was
part of the Gensler team that delivered a 6
million-square-foot (557,000 sq m) portion of a
large mixed-use development in Qatar. She has
delivered projects in the United States, United
Kingdom, Middle East, and Africa. After spending
almost half her career working on interiors,
she most recently has been focused on largescale,
mixed-use commercial projects in the San
Francisco Bay area. Cholmondeley began her
architecture career at Cornell University, then
took teaching opportunities in Knoxville and
Washington, D.C. Following graduate school in
London at the Architectural Association, Cholmondeley
worked several years at a variety of
firms in London.
SUSAN HILL is a senior managing director in
the Houston office of JLL Capital Markets, Americas.
She joined JLL as part of its acquisition of
HFF with more than 34 years of experience in
commercial real estate. She is primarily responsible
for originating debt and equity placement
transactions in all property types throughout the
southern United States. Over the course of her
career, Hill has completed more than $15 billion
in commercial real estate transactions.
RA'EESA MOTALA is vice president, industrial
and corporate solutions broker, at Rokos Advisors,
providing her clients with transparent and
measurable results for their commercial real
estate requirements. Her primary focus is corporate
headquarters, industrial manufacturing,
research and development, and medical technology
uses. Her services include counseling clients
on lease negotiations, site selection, acquisitions,
incentive programs, development opportunities,
and investments. Through her focus on
cost reduction, Motala has earned a leading reputation
in the industrial sector and established a
portfolio as an owner herself. During her time in
the brokerage industry, she has closed transactions
totaling over 4 million square feet (372,000
sq m), which equated to about $50 million.
MONIKA RAU has over seven years of experience
working on complex real estate development
projects in both Toronto and Vancouver
and has worked in all facets of the real estate
industry from brokerage to planning, development,
and property technology. She has
extensive experience with industry involvement
and leading fundraising campaigns focused on
responsible land use, holding leadership roles
with ULI British Columbia, CREW Vancouver, and
Salvation Army Nine Stories of Hope.
AMANDA RHEIN is executive director of the
Atlanta Land Trust, a nonprofit committed to
creating and preserving affordable housing in
Atlanta. Before that, she led the transit-oriented
development initiative at the Metropolitan
Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA), the
nation's ninth-largest public transit system,
resulting in the redevelopment of over 35 acres
(14 ha) of underused surface parking at eight
heavy-rail stations. Rhein is an active member
of ULI, serving as co-chair of the Diversity,
Equity, and Inclusion Council and a member of
the Livable Communities Council and the ULI
Atlanta Advisory Board. During her tenure as
the inaugural co-chair of the ULI Atlanta Center
for Leadership, she designed and implemented
an innovative leadership program for real estate
professionals that now serves as a national
model. Rhein graduated from Boston College
with a BA in sociology and earned a master of
city and regional planning from the Georgia Institute
of Technology.
