Petal Certification, Aegis Living Lake Union exemplifies a healthier living model in
the US for the senior community. The 77 residences have a consistent focus on
wellness, which includes a massage suite, balance studio and a variety of wellnessinspired
classes.
Aurora Bridge Bioswales
SEATTLE, WASHINGTON

USES: A green infrastructure bioswale that harnesses a natural process to reverse a
human-made problem

Located in the public right of way, the Aurora Bridge Bioswales were a developer-led
mitigation and offer a nature-based solution for filtering and cleaning stormwater.
Simultaneously, the swales offer a sense of place by creating an attractive, plant-rich
area to sit and walk by.
Cambridge Crossing (CX)
CAMBRIDGE, SOMERVILLE, AND BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS

SITE SIZE: 43 acres (0.4 ha)
DivcoWest transformed a 43-acre former railyard that intersects three cities into
Cambridge Crossing, a lively transit-oriented, mixed-use innovation community adjacent
to Kendall Square, and in close proximity to MIT and Harvard. Comprised of 2.1
million square feet (1.9 million sq m) of innovation space, 2.4 million square feet
of residential space (2.3 million sq m), authentic local retail; two transit stations, 11
acres of open space, and roadway/utility infrastructure.
