Master of Sustainable Real Estate Development (MSRED)
The Master of Sustainable Real Estate Development (MSRED) degree is an interdisciplinary one-year
graduate program that prepares students from diverse backgrounds to become effective and influential
participants in the fields of real estate finance, design, and development. We equip our graduates with a
blended education in business, economics, sustainable design, urbanism, and legal issues. The MSRED
degree is practice oriented and emphasizes opportunities for students to gain experience and build a
professional network in innovative for-profit, nonprofit, and public settings.
DEGREE REQUIREMENTS
* Located in the vibrant central business district of New Orleans
* One-year, full-time program that begins in the summer (summer, fall, spring)
* Includes two domestic field study trips, an optional paid internship, and a final capstone research
project with an external partner
* Option for dual degree with either a Master of Architecture or Master of Business Administration
ANNUAL TUITION AND FEES
Note: All students are considered for
merit scholarships and financial aid.
Summer: $16,000 (includes fees and
field study trip)
Fall: $32,769 (includes fees and field
study trip)
Spring: $32,769 (includes fees and
capstone project)
Total program cost: $81,538

* 39% female; 31% students of color. Average age: 30
* Average undergraduate GPA: 3.45
* Approximately 40% of students come from design/planning, 40% from business/management, and
20% from other liberal arts.
