There's nothing
like wetting a line to
take your mind off
your troubles. Fishing
is one of my favorite
ways to spend time,
and this issue's SAY
CHEESE captures
some of our readers'
favorite fishing moments.
SAY CHEESE is one of several readerinteractive
features that run in each
issue of Cooperative Living. Others range
from our WHATZIT? and HISTORY
MYSTERY contests to MAILBAGand
READER RECIPES sections.
In our June issue, we ran an
advertisement soliciting photos for our
SAY CHEESE page and recipes for our
READER RECIPES page. The good news
is, lots of people responded to the ad.
The bad news is, the ad was a little
unclear as to what we're seeking.
So, here's the scoop: We'd love for
you to send us your cute, endearing,
interesting, and intriguing photos for
consideration on our SAY CHEESE page.
Photo-submission instructions are included
on the SAY CHEESE page each
issue. Specific themes are usually announced
on our Cooperative Living
Facebook page, www.facebook.com/
cooperativeliving.
If you haven't already done so, be
sure and " like " our Facebook page,
where in addition to SAY CHEESE
information, you'll also find lots of fun
features and information on a whole
spectrum of topics pertinent to you as a
cooperative member-owner.
In addition to photos for SAY
CHEESE, we'd also love to get your
favorite recipes for our READER RECIPES
page. You can email your recipe to
ReaderRecipes@co-opliving.com, or
send them via USPS to READER RECIPES,
P.O. Box 2340, Glen Allen, VA 23058.
Be sure and write legibly, specify
exact amounts of ingredients, and include
full preparation instructions with
your recipes. For upcoming issues, we're
specifically looking for recipes that are
fun to make with kids, recipes that require
five or less ingredients, recipes that
are gluten free, and recipes that are diabetic
friendly.
We're sorry our solicitation ad last
issue was confusing, but we're heartened
that so many readers responded.
