The internet has become the ideal tool to get a jumpstart on

As you set off on your job search, the more informed you are the
better off you'll be. The Bureau of Labor Statistics (bls.gov) should
be your first resource. BLS is run by the U.S. Department of Labor
and is the principal federal agency responsible for measuring labormarket
activity, working conditions and price changes in the
economy. Its mission is to collect, analyze and report essential
economic information. Through this website, you can look up wages
by area and occupation, earnings by demographics and industry,
benefits and compensation reports, state, local and national
unemployment rates, employment projections and much more.

are always helpful.
