Happy New Year from our Family to Yours
W
e are honored to be welcomed
into the homes of our readers for
the 76th year. This publication
started off as a newspaper in 1946 and has
been informing and enlightening readers
about their communities and the work
electric cooperatives do ever since. While
that will never change, we want to make sure we continue to
look for ways to modernize the look of our magazine and
provide additional benefits to enhance our readers' experience.
To start off the New Year, we are excited to introduce a
redesigned cover and magazine with a fresh look and additional
interactive options. Along with providing digital content through
flowcodes, we were able to move our contests online where we
can have them more than once a month. Items like Mailbag and
Happenings will be more accessible online and have extra space
to expand. Through our partnership with Ag in the Classroom
and other organizations, we'll have a recipe section in the
co-opliving.com
magazine with online, how-to videos.
You will notice our Legislative Guide has evolved into
an interactive publication that will enable real-time updates,
along with making each legislator accessible by email with
just a few clicks from your computer, tablet or cellphone.
While we have expanded our interactive options, the main
objective is to complement the quality print pages and stories
that will always be the focus of Cooperative Living. It is exciting
to use technology to build on the strong tradition of excellence
that has been built here over the past three-quarters of a century.
As part of the redesign, I will have the opportunity to use
this space to give you a periodic update on new and enhanced
features of your Cooperative Living magazine. 
