ome years it's harder to be happy than others. Just ask anyone who had
his/her life upended and rearranged during 2020. The COVID-19 pandemic
chased the joy right out of life. No wonder people couldn't wait to throw their
calendars in the trash on 12/31/20!
But now it's 2021 ... take a deep breath and

that special feeling that comes over you when you know life is as it should be.

If you're not sure how to begin your search, look over this survey.
It's a good reminder that happiness comes about in many ways.
1. Who are the people in your life that give you joy?
2. Are you happy when you wake up in the morning?
Why or why not?
3. When you walk into school, (if your school is open), do you feel surrounded by supportive teachers and friends?
Name some of them
4. What are your favorite activities that make you happiest?
When do you pursue them?
5. Name three things you have done in your life that made you happy
6. Describe a sound that makes you laugh
7. What is your happiest time of day?
8. What do you know how to do that you can teach others to do?
9. What is something small that always makes you smile?
10. Is there something in your life that you would like to change?
Would this change make you happier?
11. On a scale of 1-10, with 1 the saddest and
10 the happiest, what is your present level?
It's not possible to
be happy 100% of
the time. Sadness,
disappointment and
frustration are part of
life, too. But there will
always be things to do
that will put you back
on the happy path.

grateful and you
may realize that
you really do
have enough
to live happily.
