then you'll want to make tracks to Ingalls
Field outside Hot Springs on July 15 for
Wings and Wheels, the largest car and air
show in the Allegheny Highlands. Check
out vintage planes and skilled aerobatics,
then stroll through antique, classic and

As summer heats up, head to
Clarksville from July 20-22 for the 40th
Annual Virginia Lake Festival. Voted by
the Southeast Tourism Society as one of
the " Top 20 Festivals In The Southeast, "
LakeFest (as it is known locally) attracted
nearly 60,000 visitors in 2016 to enjoy
live entertainment, including music and
dancing, great local and ethnic food, and
the traditional " Gathering Of The Boats "
and fireworks show. Admission is free,
and there's also a juried craft show, hot-air

From July 21-23, the 30th Annual
Chincoteague Island Blueberry Festival
serves as the opening act for a week of
festivities that includes the world-famous
pony-swim, non-stop live music and the
