Deadline for entries in Cooperative Living magazine's
12th Annual Youth Art Contest is May 1. The
contest is open to all children in kindergarten through
grade 5.
The theme for the 2014 Youth Art Contest is,
" Here's How I Help Other People. "
Three winners (first- second- and third-place) will be selected in each grade category and
all winning entries will be published in the July 2014 issue of Cooperative Living.
First-place winners will each receive a $25 cash prize, and the entry judged " Best of
Show " in all categories will receive a $100 cash prize and be featured on the cover of the July
issue of Cooperative Living.
Artwork should be done vertically (portrait-style) on an 8½-by-11-inch sheet of white
paper. Original artwork cannot be returned. Each entry should include the child's name, age,
grade in school, mailing address and parent or guardian's daytime telephone number.
All entries are due by May 1, 2014. Entries should be mailed flat (unfolded) to: Youth Art
Contest, c/o Cooperative Living magazine, P.O. Box 2340, Glen Allen, Va. 23058-2340.
