Celebrating Agricultural
Partnerships
N
ational Ag Day is March 19, and Prince George
Electric Cooperative would like to mark this occasion
by recognizing the essential role agriculture plays in
our everyday lives. Your cooperative is especially grateful for
the opportunity to support our agricultural members - like
Monohan Farms outside of Waverly. When asked how being an
agricultural member of PGEC has aff ected business operations,
Brad Monohan of Monohan Farms had the following to say:
" As our infrastructure has expanded over years, PGEC provides
effi cient three-phase power to our operations and RURALBAND
helps us monitor operations at our grain dryer from our mobile
devices 24/7. Th anks to RURALBAND, we have been able to
signifi cantly reduce the amount of the driving back and forth,
thanks to being able to sign important documents like grain
contracts and local USDA paperwork electronically.
I am very thankful for the service you all provide for us. "
Your cooperative extends heartfelt gratitude to our farmers
and agricultural members for the vital ways you support our daily
lives. PGEC is proud to support you by continuing to invest in
innovative solutions and technologies, and looks forward to our
thriving partnerships.
