The centuries-old ambiance provides an incredible backdrop for a celebration where the uniqueness and history of the destination is easily felt—the “ancient panorama,” as Alcocer puts it. “This is where the magic lies—what [couples] are looking for,” she explains. They also have the option of holding their ceremony in a large garden area within the property’s 200 hectares. Pre-ceremony, couples (and guests) can spend some time at the hacienda’s Hol Be Spa, where local Mayan therapists apply their centuries-old healing secrets to visitors, often using indigenous spa products.
