Along the Riviera Maya, the Fairmont
Mayakoba dazzles attendees with beach,
tropical forest, canals, world-class golfing
and close to 46,500 sf of event space, while
the Grand Velas Riviera Maya resort
offers groups a Zen ambiance, a 30,000-sf
convention center and AAA Five Diamond
dining at its Cocina de Autor restaurant, a
first for an all-inclusive.
Hilton has opened its first Curio
Collection property in Mexico with the
93-room The Fives Downtown Hotel &
Residences in Playa del Carmen. Here,
up to 120 attendees can meet and then
take a dip in the infinity pool overlooking
the Caribbean Sea, or share international
cuisine and an authentic tequila bar
experience with more than 100 tequilas
and mezcals.
At the recently refurbished Barcelo
Maya Beach Resort, groups can play
19 holes of minigolf before heading off
for meetings at one of the resort's four
meetings-ready properties. Beachfront sun
combines with sizzling city life at the chic
Grand Hyatt Playa del Carmen Resort,
with 15,000 sf of event space in the

center of Playa del Carmen's boutiques,
