architecture of the theatre are available and the entire theatre is available for buyout. Adjacent to Dolby is the TCL Chinese Theatre IMAX, famous for its hand and footprints (known as the Forecourt of the Stars) of past and bygone-era Hollywood stars. The theatre underwent extensive renovations in 2013 that elevated the Los Angeles Historic Landmark to IMAX status, the only of its kind in Hollywood. Groups can take in the ambience where thousands of Hollywood's elite-from Marilyn Monroe to George Clooney- have mixed and mingled, during a VIP tour, or consider timing your event with a once in a lifetime hand and footprint ceremony, Hollywood premiere or movie festival. The iconic theatre's lavish, state-of-the-art VIP Lounge, complete with private concessions services, offers a bird's-eye view of the famous Grauman's Ballroom, also available for rent. Not surprising for the "Entertainment Capital of the World," Hollywood venues tend to veer toward the experiential side, and Madame Tussauds Hollywood is no exception. Here, groups can get a sense of what it would be like to hobnob with some of Hollywood's greatest legends, via their wax doppelgangers. Madame Tussauds' 6,500-square-foot rooftop terrace makes for an interesting backdrop to cocktail parties and corporate events, or the entire 30,000-square-foot venue can be bought out for groups up to 1,500. One of the nation's largest urban parks also sports one of the city's most beloved entertainment venues, a prevue center stage / L.A. Tourism 5,900-seat amphitheater. The intimate Greek Theatre is enveloped by Griffith Park, which comes with its own booty of spoils for groups such as the Griffith Observatory, L.A. Zoo and L.A. Equestrian Center. The park, originally a 3,000-acre ranch, was gifted at the turn of the 19th century to the city of L.A. by a lucky gold miner from South Wales. Since this time, it has been a green haven for public recreation and unique go-to option for private events. Equally exciting is the Hollywood Bowl, which hosted its first Los Angeles Philharmonic performance in 1921 before moving on to Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream and music legends like The Beatles. As the largest outdoor amphitheater in the U.S., the Hollywood Bowl has played backdrop to countless movies, and its this kind of history (including the onsite museum) that keeps it front of mind for planners seeking a major outdoor venue with a lot of charm. MOVIE STUDIOS Lights, Camera and Action! When it comes to delivering an adrenalin-filled L.A. experience to groups few places are better suited than Hollywood's movie studios. Magic is unleashed at Universal Studios HollywoodSM, where the events team can customize any number of "wow" events for groups of 10 to 20,000. From puzzle-filled races through movie
