SUPER TAG RAFFLE
Super Tag is an additional opportunity all
sportspersons can enter for the chance at 11
license draw opportunities. Super Tag was
created by former Governor Matt Mead and
the Wyoming Legislature in 2013 to further
support conservation in Wyoming. The
program has raised more than $12.5 million
for significant, on-the-ground conservation
efforts since its inception. This funding has
contributed to efforts such as the Wyoming
Mule Deer Initiative projects, conducting
big game research, wildlife movement and
migration and inspiring the next generation
of conservationists. Through the Super Tag
program, sportspersons can pursue license

draw and subsequent license purchase if
chosen for species such as bighorn sheep,
moose, mountain goat, elk, wild bison,
deer, pronghorn, black bear, gray wolf and
mountain lion. If selected as the Super Tag
Trifecta draw winner, a combination of
three species of their choice. Super Tag is an
annual program that is completely separate
from all other application or purchase
programs. Super Tag raffle purchases are
non-refundable and still require the individual
to purchase the license they drew. More

choice. There was a 16.9 percent chance
of drawing this license as a second choice.

Area 7, Type 4 licenses, there was an initial
quota of 1,065 licenses. The total number of
applicants including first, second and third
choices was 972 applicants. That left 93
licenses unallocated in the resident random
draw. In the resident elk draw, these licenses
would be available in the leftover draw. In deer
and antelope, resident licenses are added to
the initial quota for nonresidents.
