I took my six-month pregnant body for a walk on the
ranch and noticed something ahead. My heart leaped
when I saw these bobcat kittens. The kittens were a little
startled when I approached, but as I calmly sat down
they went back to dozing. They cuddled with each other
while they soaked up the little bit of sun peeking through
the clouds. Their ears followed the sounds of birds and
the clicking of my camera.

With the bighorn sheep rut in full force, we watched up
to a dozen rams chase this ewe around the mountain for
more than an hour outside Jackson. Through my lens I
followed her as she tried to escape the chaos by moving
to higher ground, but this ram was determined to follow.
Despite his best efforts and his never-give-up attitude,
the ewe managed to avoid him. However, the ram landed
safely after his leap.
