Palmer Holland has launched its
newly designed website, which,
according to a company news release,
focuses on enhancing user experience
and content quality.
"We want our website visitors to
be able to find exactly what they need
regardless of their position in the
formulation process," said Palmer Holland Chief Innovation Officer Charlie
Laurie. "Whether the users know
a product name, a market segment
they're formulating into or a product
attribute, we built our website to serve
as an information hub ... ."
The new website includes features
such as product filtering capabilities
based on end-use markets and market
segments.
BIOSYNTHETIC® TECHNOLOGIES
REACHES DISTRIBUTION
AGREEMENT WITH SIP

Biosynthetic® Technologies announced a
partnership with SIP Specialty Oils and
Fluids to expand its footprint in the European market and to meet the extensive
European demand for bio-based base oils,
according to a company news release.
SIP, an independent marketer of
specialty oils, fluids and additives, is
now marketing, selling, warehousing
and supporting Biosynthetic Technologies' full product portfolio.

said Biosynthetic Technologies CEO

FUCHS ACQUIRES LUBRICANT
MANUFACTURER, PLANS TO BE
CARBON NEUTRAL BY 2020

The FUCHS Group has acquired Fairhaven, Massachusetts-based lubricant
manufacturer Nye Lubricants Inc.,
which employs 180 people and generated $51 million in fiscal year 2018,
according to a FUCHS news release.
"We are very excited to have Nye
join the FUCHS Group," said Stefan
Fuchs, chairman of the FUCHS
PETROLUB SE executive board.
"While FUCHS and Nye operate in
the same industries, the Nye product
offering allows us to capitalize on additional high value-added applications.
In other FUCHS news, the
company plans to go carbon dioxide neutral at all 58 of its locations
worldwide by 2020. The company
will invest in high-quality climate
protection projects aimed primarily at
promoting renewable energies.
AXEL GROUP MOVES FORWARD
WITH EXPANSION PLANS

AXEL Group announced that it is
proceeding with the expansion of three

plants in the U.S., a multimilliondollar project.
The expansion project includes
increasing dedicated calcium sulfonate
complex line capacity at its Rosedale,
Mississippi, plant, as well as the installation of high-speed cartridge-filling
lines and other equipment and process
investments at its Tulsa, Oklahoma,
and Schertz, Texas, facilities.
"These investments will increase our
flexibility and production capacity and
optimize our operations, and will also
ensure that all our facilities meet the
same high quality, safety and environment standards of the global AXEL
Group," said Tom Schroeder, president
of AXEL Americas.
CALUMET NAMES NEW
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT
AND CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Calumet Specialty Products Partners
has named H. Keith Jennings as its
executive vice president and chief
financial officer (CFO).
Jennings' responsibilities now
include leading all treasury, accounting, tax, information technology and
capital market activities, managing the
company's balance sheet and improving its corporate financial capabilities.

Calumet and believe that he brings a
deep skill set to our finance team as well
as strong corporate finance experience
in the global specialty chemicals sector,"
said Calumet CEO Tim Go. "Keith's
