DUBOIS CHEMICALS ACQUIRES
CIMCOOL FLUID TECHNOLOGY

DuBois Chemicals purchased
CIMCOOL Fluid Technology from
Milacron Holdings, a subsidiary of
Hillenbrand, for $224 million.
"We are excited that our customers will have access to a new set of
solutions, applications experts and
technical service resources to support
and add value to their businesses,"
said DuBois President and CEO Jeff
Welsh. "We believe that this acquisition will allow us to increase our
presence among significant customers
and important segments."
Hillenbrand will also receive $26
million in contingent purchase price
upon a future sale of the combined
DuBois and CIMCOOL businesses.
CALUMET SPECIALTY PRODUCTS
PARTNERS ACQUIRES PARALOGICS,
ANNOUNCES CEO TRANSITION

Calumet Specialty Products Partners
acquired candle and industry wax
blend producer Paralogics, expanding
Calumet's presence in the specialty
wax blending and packaging market.

our current wax business and further
enhances our capabilities and presence

In other Calumet news, CEO Tim
Go notified the company's Board Of
Directors that he will resign effective
June 1 to pursue projects closer to his
family in Texas. Board member Steve
Mawer has been appointed to take
over as CEO at that time.
"Tim built a strong management
team that will continue to build on his
legacy," said Fred Fehsenfeld, chairman
of Calumet's Board. "Under Steve's
leadership, we will continue executing
our specialty products growth strategy.
We are where we are today due to Tim's
dedication and leadership, and I thank
him for his contributions and sacrifice."
LIQUIBOX ACQUIRES
DS SMITH PLASTICS

Liquibox completed the acquisition
of DS Smith's plastics division, which
includes both rigid and flexible packaging businesses.

transformational acquisition and
welcome the DS Smith plastics
employees to our team," said Ken
Swanson, CEO of Liquibox. "The new
structure and brand identity of these
businesses further support our strategy
and commitment to lead the way with
sustainable packaging solutions."

With the addition of DS Smith's
plastics division, Liquibox now has 35
manufacturing facilities and a global
workforce of nearly 3,000 employees.
PILOT CHEMICAL EARNS
ENVIRONMENTAL ACHIEVEMENT
AWARD

the Karl G. Voelkel Industry Award for outstanding
environmental achievement on behalf of Pilot. Gerry
Burriss presented the award from the Southwest section
of the Ohio Water Environment Association.

Pilot Chemical Co. earned the Karl
G. Voelkel Industry Award from the
Southwest section of the Ohio Water
Environment Association (OWEA) for
outstanding environmental achievement.
The Southwest section of the
OWEA presented the award to the
Pilot team at the company's Industrial
Waste Seminar meeting Jan. 23.
"Receiving the Karl G. Voelkel
Industry Award is a significant
achievement for Pilot Chemical and
the Middletown [Ohio] plant," said
Steve Scott, production manager at
Pilot's Middletown plant. "It recognizes
the hard work we put into improvements in our wastewater-management
process, and it is an affirmation that we
are doing the right things to be good
corporate citizens in the communities
where we live and work."
