PRESIDENT OF MARKETING

HYDROTEX HONORED FOR
REDUCING TOLUENE
PRODUCTION WASTE

Hydrotex was honored by U.S.
Environmental Protection Agency
(EPA) Regional Administrator Ken
McQueen after it was found that the
company reduced its production-related waste from toluene by 95% from
2017 to 2018.
Hydrotex Executive Vice President of
Product Technology John Cummins was
a special guest at an EPA Region 6 senior
staff meeting, where McQueen thanked
him for his leadership in the effort.

Matthew Mapus

Sea-Land Chemical Co. promoted
Matthew Mapus to vice president
of marketing.
As a new member of the executive
leadership team, Mapus' responsibilities include leading the development
and execution of marketing strategy
and communicating the value
proposition for the company, principal
supplier partners and their product

brands in the market. He will also
spearhead growth and development
activities for new markets by exploring
raw-material supplier and customer
relationship opportunities in North
America and Europe.
"Since joining the company 12 years
ago as a product manager, Matt has
brought a wealth of industry knowledge
and experience and has been an integral
part of our success," said Jennifer
Altstadt, president of Sea-Land. "He
will continue to build crucial relationships with our customers and business
partners, oversee marketing and technical resources and be the main point
of contact for media relations."
In Mapus' time at Sea-Land, he's held
several roles in marketing and product
management, serving as director of
marketing for the past three years.
