RICHARDSAPEX PROMOTES KEY

and James Brooks to vice president of
product management and senior product development specialist, respectively.

In his new position, Creneti will
support direct sales efforts, including
international subsidiaries, reps and
distributors. During his 17 years at
RichardsApex, he has served in various
lab-based and technical roles, assisting
the company's manufacturing and
purchasing departments, as well as
helping customers achieve maximum
product performance.
Brooks, who joined the company
six years ago as a product development
chemist, has gained knowledge of
RichardsApex's entire product line and
has developed several new products in
the past few years. He also serves as a
technical advisor for customers and
the company's sales force.
LUBE-TECH OPENS NEW
MILWAUKEE FACILITY

Lube-Tech has opened its new
111,725-square-foot facility in Milwaukee and begun operations.
The new facility features an
intermodal rail and docking system,
21 bulk storage tanks and two diesel
exhaust fluid storage tanks that hold
310,000 gallons and 40,000 gallons,

respectively. It is also now the workplace of 50 company employees.
"We are excited about how this
state-of-the-art facility will help
us better deliver on our customer
promise by helping ensure we get the
high-quality products to our customers when they need them to keep their
business running," said Andrew Haag,

development at Lube-Tech.
HOLLYFRONTIER PRESIDENT
RETIRES, REPLACEMENT IS
APPOINTED

Mark A. Plake, who has held several
roles in his 21-year career at HollyFrontier, has retired as the company's
president of lubricants and specialties, and Bruce A. Lerner has been
appointed as his replacement, bringing
with him extensive executive experience at industry-related companies.
"On behalf of HollyFrontier, I want
to congratulate Mark on his successful
career at HollyFrontier. We wish him
the best in retirement," said Michael
Jennings, the company's president and
CEO. "We are excited to have Bruce
join our executive leadership team.
We look forward to his experience and
leadership as we continue working to
grow the scale and profitability of our
lubricants and specialties business."
SAFETY-KLEEN ADDS
RE-REFINERY IN NEW
HAMPSHIRE
Safety-Kleen, subsidiary
of Clean Harbors,
acquired a re-refinery
in New Hampshire from Green View
Technologies, increasing its Group II+
production capacity.

"We are always looking for opportunities to grow our footprint," Safety-Kleen
Executive Vice President Craig Linington said in an interview with Lube
Report, "and this relatively new facility,
while small, complements our existing
Safety-Kleen network and gives us a
plant in the northeastern U.S."
The re-refinery is able to produce
approximately 395 barrels per day of
Group II+ base oil, with Safety-Kleen
providing the used oil feedstock.
LUBRIZOL JOINS SHIPPING'S
ZERO-EMISSIONS COALITION

The Lubrizol Corp. became the first
lubricant additive technology supplier
to join the Getting to Zero Coalition, a
partnership spearheaded by the Global
Maritime Forum, the World Economic
Forum and Friends of Ocean Action.
Made up of more than 100
organizations and endorsed by 14
governments worldwide, the Getting to Zero Coalition's goal is to
further develop commercially viable
zero-emissions deep-sea ships by 2030.
"Joining the Getting to Zero Coalition is an opportunity for Lubrizol
to contribute to one of the most
important challenges of our time,"
said Simon Tarrant, business manager,
large engines, at Lubrizol. "It is also a
chance to align with forward-thinking
industry stakeholders to gain some
insight into the engine and fuel solution challenges of the future."
