AMERICAN REFINING GROUP
FILLS KEY POSITIONS
American Refining Group Inc. (ARG)
named John Zarroli and Alyson King
as its new senior solutions specialist and solvents business manager,
respectively.
Zarroli, a Society of Tribology and
Lubrication Engineers-certified specialist with 25 years of lubricants and
specialty experience, now holds ARG's
key R&D role with the company's sales
and marketing team and its customers.
"ARG's investment in John as a specialist dedicated to offering solutions
bolsters our company's can-do attitude
toward solving whatever product or
application challenges our customers
might face," said ARG Vice President
of Sales and Marketing John Malone.
King, who has industry experience
in sales and account and market
management dating back to 2004, will
be responsible for ensuring ARG's
solvents line meets or exceeds targets
for growth and profitability.

addition to our sales team," Malone
said. "Her sales experience further
strengthens the solid slate of sales
professionals serving our customers."
LUBRICATION SPECIALTIES
HIRES VICE PRESIDENT OF
GLOBAL SALES
Lubrication Specialties Inc. (LSI)
hired Todd Cawley as its first vice
president of global sales.
Cawley brings with him decades of
experience at several industry businesses.
He will be responsible for developing
LSI's global sales of oil and fuel additives
to large commercial oil blenders for
private labels, with a market focus on
additives for racing oils, engine oils and
industrial oils.
"It was Todd's decades-long experience
and proven sales track record with

lubricants, especially in regard to the use
of nanotechnology for oils and additives,
that was a key determinant in the decision for this important new position,"
said LSI President Brett Tennar. "We are
excited to have him join our team and
look forward to how he will be able to

and our full family of brands."
WARREN OIL APPOINTS NEW CFO
Warren Oil Co. promoted Carey
Parnell from controller to chief financial officer.
Parnell has over 25 years of experience in accounting and finance
management and served as controller
at Warren Oil for the past year.

IN MEMORIAM
ILMA was saddened to learn that Thomas Gordon, who
had a 40-year career with Gordon Terminal Services,
passed away unexpectedly at age 63 on June 19.
Tom most recently served as vice president and managing
partner of Gordon Terminal Services after holding several
other positions in the company over his career. He was a
longtime ILMA member and a frequent attendee of ILMA
meetings, as well as a member and past president of the
Petroleum Packaging Council.
Tom's family describes him as a true friend who loved
Thomas Gordon
people with every ounce of his being, a brother in Christ,
a true American patriot and a person who found his best friend in his wife,
Joanne. Together, with their involvement in the Christ Church of Short Hills'
choir, vestry and its many subcommittees, Tom became a huge presence within
the church community.
An avid philanthropist, Tom was a devoted supporter of The Heritage Foundation, St. Andrew's Society of Philadelphia, Sigma Chi Foundation, Intercollegiate
Studies Institute, Network of Enlightened Women, National Brain Tumor Society
and Heritage Valley Health System.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Joanne Ng Gordon; sons, Travis M.
Gordon (Martina), Cameron S. Gordon, and Mclean A. "Teddy" Gordon;
grandchildren, Daniel James Gordon and Sawyer Finley Gordon; stepchildren,
Stacie Khandros and Brandon Cheung; 13 nieces and nephews; dozens of
cousins; and thousands of dear friends.
