Evonik Appoints Mukund Bhure
Global Industrial Lubricants
Marketing Manager

Mukund Bhure

Evonik's Oil Additives business line has
appointed Mukund Bhure to the role
of global industrial lubricants
marketing manager. In this role, he will
be responsible for leadership of the
wind turbine and general industrial
gear oils business globally, and he will
relocate from his current location in
Mumbai, India, to Evonik's Horsham,
Pennsylvania, Technology Center in

the United States.
Bhure joined Evonik's Oil Additives business line in April 2010
from Chevron Lubricants, where he was responsible for the sale
of industrial lubricants and Chevron's OEM business in India. He
is a science graduate with a post-graduate degree in marketing
management from Pune University in India. He brings to his
new role more than 24 years of successful sales and marketing
experience with lubricants and specialty chemicals.

Allegheny Kicks Off Plant Building
Project in Jamaica
Allegheny Petroleum Products Co. has teamed with Paramount
Chemical to build a 15,000-square-foot manufacturing facility
in Kingston, Jamaica. The new facility will allow them to
manufacture finished lubricants on the island, provide incountry lab testing and bring the latest lubricant technologies
to the island.
Together, the companies have invested $4 million in the initial
phase of the project, which will include all of the infrastructure
needed for a fully functioning lubricant manufacturing
plant. Over half a million dollars has been spent on new lab
equipment, which was installed last month. The plant will
initially focus on manufacturing heavy-duty diesel engine oils.

Minhas is New President & CEO of
The Lockhart Co.

Raj Minhas

The Lockhart Co. (TLC) is pleased to
announce the promotion of Raj
Minhas to the position of president
and chief executive officer effective
July 1, 2016. Minhas has been with the
holding company since 1993, and has
held several positions, with the latest
being COO of the chemical division,
Lockhart Chemical Co. (Additives
International)

In his new position, Minhas will report directly to the board
of The Lockhart Co. and will oversee all operations of The
Lockhart Holding Co., consisting of the chemical division
(Additives International), paint and coatings division
(Bradley Coatings), titanium business (Atlas Metal) and other
investments.
Minhas has a master's degree in chemical engineering from
University of Toronto and an MBA from University of Michigan.

Houghton International Acquires
Wallover Enterprises
Houghton International Inc. announced July 7, 2016, that it had
acquired Wallover Enterprises, a North American metalworking
fluid and industrial lubricant manufacturer headquartered in
Strongsville, Ohio. Both companies are members of ILMA.
"This acquisition enables Houghton to expand and improve
its metalworking solutions capability for its customers,"
said Houghton Chief Executive Officer Mike Shannon. "We
welcome the Wallover employees to the Houghton family
and look forward to combining our industry experience and
knowledge."
Terms of the Wallover transaction were not disclosed.
