DR. HEIKE HUNDERTMARK

Carl BECHEM GmbH in Hagen,
Germany, has announced that John
Steigerwald retired as president of
their company in the U.S., BECHEM
Lubrication Technology LLC, as of
Dec. 31, 2017. He has been working
with the Carl BECHEM organization
for over 18 years, initially as president
of its joint-venture in the U.S., and in
the past four years as president of its
wholly owned subsidiary BECHEM
Lubrication Technology LLC. Steigerwald has been in the global specialty
lubricants and metalworking fluids
industry for 40 years while being very
active in many trade, industry and
technical groups globally.
At the beginning of the new year,
Dr. Heike Hundertmark took over for
Steigerwald as president of BECHEM
Lubrication Technology LLC. She
will continue to oversee the continued
growth of the company along with
her previous responsibilities as the
managing director of Carl BECHEM
Mexico. Hundertmark is one of the
six-generation family members actively

involved in the global expansion of the
Carl BECHEM global organization.
"She has the focus, energy,
team-spirited leadership skills and as a
direct family member of the founders
of the company, a commitment along
with her team to continue the expansion of the company in the North
American market. I wish her and the
rest of the team much success and
fun on their committed drive," stated
Steigerwald.

BECOMES FIRST MANUFACTURER
TO ACHIEVE ISO 9001 AND 14001
CERTIFICATIONS
Petro-Canada Lubricants has announced that it is the first white oils,
speciality base oils and lubricants
manufacturer in the world to achieve
the latest ISO 9001:2015 and ISO
14001:2015 certifications.
The world's foremost ISO standards
for quality and environmental management have been revised and are set
to become an industry requirement in
September 2018. Petro-Canada Lubricants has achieved the certification 16
months ahead of the industry deadline,
making it the first lubricants manufacturer to achieve these certifications,
which cover all the organization's
operations globally.
The scope of the ISO 9001 and
14001 certifications cover all aspects
of Petro-Canada Lubricants' business,
including manufacturing, blending,
packaging, design, sales and distribution of base stocks, oils, greases
and lubricants. Achieved through an
external auditing process led by a global registrar, ABS Quality Evaluations
Inc., the ISO certifications are benchmarked against control and mitigation
of environmental impacts; enabling
safe and reliable operations; quality of
products and services to meet specific

performance standards; customerspecific requirements and delivering
customer satisfaction; and supporting
continual improvement.
"The ISO certifications are the highest endorsement from a key external
authority to say that we are leaders in
quality and environmental standards,"
commented Tony Stranges, director,
Management Systems, Petro-Canada
Lubricants. "It is continued validation
of the quality of our product design,
manufacture, delivery and service and
commitment to our environmental
obligations.

achieved this certification is testament to the fact that our processes
and operations are consistently high

to continuous improvement."

ATRP SOLUTIONS INC.
RENAMED TO PILOT POLYMER
TECHNOLOGIES INC.
ATRP Solutions Inc., a subsidiary
of Pilot Chemical Co., is now Pilot
Polymer Technologies Inc. The new
name better reflects its broadening
proprietary technologies in important
chemical markets.

Chemical's commitment to growth
and innovation in the specialty polymer market," said Patrick McCarthy,
president of Pilot Polymer Technologies (PPT). "It is great to be part of a
company with the leadership, vision

Pilot Chemical acquired the
Pittsburgh-based ATRP Solutions in
July 2017, to expand its footprint in
the oil field chemicals, lubricant additives and paints and coatings markets.
